BeTheanine® is an extract 100% from selected green tea, without any carrier or compounds other than from the extraction (low EtOH) of green tea. BeTheanine® is the result of over a year and a half of research and testing.
Indeed, in order to comply with the extraction protocol recommended in Europe (low ethanol), a specific supply chain has been set up:
• precise selection of the collection area and teas,
• definition of the level of leaf maturity,
• suitable drying system to preserve the assay,
• Implementation of a selection protocol according to the active ingredient content
• etc…
all this in order to maintain the optimum levels of L-Theanine in the green tea leaf, and to make it possible to obtain a rich extract without the risk of external intake, and in compliance with regulatory – and customer’s – requirements.
The extraction ratio allows you to provides 140mg of L-Theanine while remaining at max. 11g of plant equivalent required in some EU members. The Xanthine content (caffeine and theophylline) is controlled as well as EGCG (max. 0.1%).
Then, the process has been carefully worked on and optimized - nearly a year of pilot production with various origins of leaves - so that the extraction can be carried out using only water and 25% ethanol.

Becarre Natural est heureux d'annoncer que BeTheanine® est maintenant disponible et en stock en Europe. BeTheanine® est l’extrait apportant 40% de L-Théanine, et 100% issu de thé vert sélectionné, sans support ni composés autres que ceux issus de l'extraction (éthanol faible) du thé vert.
BeTheanine® est le fruit de plus d'un an et demi de recherches et d'essais.
En effet, afin de respecter le protocole d'extraction préconisé en Europe (faible teneur en éthanol), une filière d'approvisionnement spécifique a été mise en place :
• sélection précise de la collecte et des thés,
• définition du niveau de maturité des feuilles,
• système de séchage spécifique pour préserver le dosage,
• mise en place d'un protocole de sélection en fonction de la teneur en principe actif
• etc…
tout ceci dans le but de maintenir les niveaux optimaux de L-Théanine dans la feuille de thé vert, et pour permettre d'obtenir un extrait riche sans risque d'apport externe, et dans le respect des exigences réglementaires - et de vos contraintes.
Le taux d'extraction permet d'apporter 140mg de L-Théanine tout en restant au max . 11 g d'équivalent végétal requis par certains membres de l'UE. La teneur en Xanthine (caféine et théophylline) est maîtrisée ainsi qu'en EGCG (max. 0,1%).
Ensuite, le process a été soigneusement travaillé et optimisé - près d'un an de production pilote avec diverses origines de feuilles - afin que l'extraction puisse être effectuée en utilisant uniquement l'éthanol faible (eau et 25% d'éthanol).
