Shilajit 20%
Shilajit - Rock exudate Shilajit for fulvid acvid
Shilajit or Mumijo is a blackish-brown powder or an exudate from high mountain rocks. Although shilajit is sometimes referred to as a mineral tar or resin, it is not actually either of those. It is a highly viscous substance that is very dark brown or black in color, readily soluble in water.
Shilajit is composed of 60% to 80% humic substances such as humic and fulvic acids, along with trace oligoelements including selenium.
Shilajit so contains fulvic acid (similar to humic acids) and more than 84 minerals, and can function as an antioxidant to improve the body’s immunity and memory, an anti-inflammatory, an energy booster, and a diuretic to remove "excess fluid" from the body. Because of these benefits, shilajit is thought to help counteract many symptoms associated with higher altitudes.
Since shilajit is rich in fulvic acid, a strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, it may also protect against free radicals and cellular damage. This powerful antioxidant would so contribute to cognitive health by preventing the accumulation of tau protein (an important part of the nervous system, but a buildup can trigger brain cell damage). Researchers think that the fulvic acid in shilajit may stop the abnormal buildup of tau protein and reduce inflammation, potentially improving Alzheimer’s symptoms.
Ayuerveda - The traditional medicine originating in India
Ayurveda - or Ayurvedic medicine - is the form of traditional medicine originating in India, which draws its sources from the Veda, the set of sacred texts. Ayurveda describes the human being as being composed of the five Mahabhutas, the three doshas (the basic energies of the living), the seven dhatus (the tissues) and the sixteen shrotas (the channels which carry the doshas through all the organization). Many plants and plant extracts are derived from Ayurvedic medicine.
